Read MoreImagine a weekend getaway, far from the hustle-bustle of the city and the work pressure and monotonous routine, just the gentle rustling of the tree leaves & fragrance of soil. My two close friends and I planned a getaway, certainly to explore something like this. Perhaps, an amazing place near Pune on Saswad Road was chosen by all of us to travel this weekend. So not wasting much of our time, we started our expedition to feel the real connection with nature, trees, bridges, country life and enjoy every moment to the fullest.
The place where we reached was famous for its fig (Anjeer) farming a perfect destination to enjoy the authentic taste of the fresh figs and a lovely location for a family outing. Who wouldn’t enjoy a picnic amidst trees with the surreal and blissful environment? These Anjeer farms & surroundings just not offered a fun-filled and enriching experience but also helped us to experience our cultural roots and allowed glimpses of the rural life of the older generations.
We explored interesting information about figs in an actual farm, especially the farmer who would be very helpful to learn more whenever you raise any question. It was really fun to visit fig (Anjeer) farms and good get-together for all of us after a long time. The time we spent and the new things that we learned at Anjeer Farm are priceless. I must say, there are very few things that can beat the rustic charm and natural beauty of a visit to country life. I believe this is must travel place and everyone should experience it once
