The Deshmukh family of Karav Taluka, Ambarnath District in Thane are in possession of 100 to 150 acres of lush green farms where they have been farming numerous varieties of pulses, vegetables, and fruits. But the most unique process is making the mustard oil from mustard crops grown in the farms. The aim was to showcase this agricultural heritage with the young generation and share their knowledge about age-old farming practices and how it has evolved over the years.
